Idea description:

Thanks to its variability and multifunctional character, the bathroom was classifi ed as a consumable, which can be chosen, bought and reshaped to fi t our dreams and fi nally thrown out or replaced. Just like a car, the Capsule for tomorrow may also be of a certain size or be tuned in a custom way. It adds a new dimension to any fl at. Fastening the Capsule onto the façade makes for limited fl at cells expanding into space. On the other hand, the exterior material provides anonymity for its owner. The Capsule of Tomorrow’s visual inter-connection with the exterior without any feedback completes its aim of creating intimate space. Several modules mounted onto the façade also give the exterior a new shape. The Capsule’s only requirement is a water inlet. Since waste water will be recycled, no sewage branch is required there. Zero requirements on already existing urban sewage piping systems of a limited capacity are thus generated. Used water will be chemically treated so as to be used again. Redundant recycled water shall be removed by water spray, the device releasing
water in the environment in form of aerosol. Air moisture in the city can be thus compensated.
