Idea description:

The sidewalks and streets of Bratislava are fascinating. Every time someone needs to access the gas or water lines, they dig up just a narrow strip in the ground and then fill it up again, pouring a layer of asphalt over it. After hundreds of similar repairs, we get unbelievable collages of countless surfaces and materials. Public areas are neglected, the sidewalks are unmaintained and broken, the streets are missing painted markings, the grass is trampled and long dead, etc. This urban intervention portrays diverse parts of the town, each with geometrically defined areas, showing how they could look if they were conceptual and regularly taken care of. This is in order to demonstrate the current state of the public space.
