Our proposal suggests building new parking places under the Apollo bridge on the left bank of the river Danube. At present the space is unused. Since the area is deficient in parking lots (particularly during the work week), we suggest to unite the existing parking area with our proposed new parking area by building a concrete access road and a crossing over the railway, which constitutes a dividing element at the moment. The parking area should be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The main advantages of the present proposal include making use of the bridge standing over the area, which would cover the parking lot and protect it against weather changes; utilizing the currently-neglected space under the bridge; and the proximity of the center of the town. The proposed parking area should be provided with one entrance and one exit. The parking places thus created would number approximately 60.
