Idea description:

Using extensive publicity of the idea of herbaceous plantings in urban areas, Bee line is trying to stress the important role of pollination and beekeeping landscape for our society. Bees, bumble bees, butterflies and some beetle species are responsible for pollination of over 80 % of normal, human-used plants. The problem is with the current situation in the cities. There are many green areas, but these are mainly lawns. However, the basis of the diet of plant pollinators are honey plants. Grasslands thus form a type of urban green area where bees and other beneficial insects are fed. Their number decreases therefore in the cities every year.

The range used in extensive herbal plantations includes groups of plants which, with a proper combination of species, reach a higher degree of self-regulation in several years. In practice, this means a self-sustaining community of plants with low maintenance. The plants are selected based on their ability of vigorous growth under stress conditions provided in the green strips between the road communications. Honey species are prevailing.
